We had a blast exploring Kamakura and chilling at the hostel. The staff were super chill and helped us plan our adventures. We rented bikes and cruised to the beach, catching some sick waves and soaking up the sun. The hostel also had free Wi-Fi, so we could stay connected and share our epic moments with our followers. It was the ultimate vacay for young thrill-seekers like us!

The only thing that could've made our stay even more epic would be a cool hangout area for partying with other guests. Don't get me wrong, the atmosphere was chill, but we were hoping for a spot to listen to music, play games, and meet new people.

Staff is great even though I stayed there for one night they were really friendly especially Jun and Takuwan were willing to chat and tell what they find interesting in the city (which you should probably listen because I saw a lot of all awesome stuff thanks to them). They have a badass common room too and a sketchy but warm bar. Greetings from Turkey.

Single sex dorm rooms. Rooms were quite noisy and very bright in the morning due to traditional Japanese styled rooms (rice paper partitions).

I had an amazing time at this hostel! I stayed for a few days and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The traditional Japanese style of the building and futon beds made the experience feel authentic. The common room was a great place to meet other travelers and locals, and the atmosphere was fantastic. The option to rent bikes was a game-changer, allowing me to easily explore all the main attractions. Highly recommended!

Kamakura Guest House had a lovely friendly atmosphere and the family who run the hostel were most welcoming at all times. The facilities were clean, and a we were looking for a bit of a traditional Japanese experience the tatami bed room and communal rooms were the perfect antidote to a week of tiny western style hotels in Tokyo.

Sleeping in a dorm is always risky - despite the 10 P.M. lights out rule in the dorm, other guests were not always considerate in the amount of noise they made during the night/early in the morning.

The staff at this guest house were kind and cheerful, always ready to help. the guest house itself was beautiful and comfortable, with a traditional Japanese feeling. One of the best aspects was the location, it was very convenient to rent a bike and explore all the major sights easily. the price was unbelievably cheap.

They did not apologize for this inconvenience. Despite my repeated requests to fix it, they treated my concerns as an annoyance.

The family which runs the guest is extremely friendly, helpful. I like some of the furnitures in the dormitory, they are very traditional Japanese.

It was noisy sometime in the night, it was disturbing. And also they have only one toilet and one bathroom in the ground floor, which I think is not sufficient for the dormitory. With me there were only three persons in the male dormitory.

The Guesthouse was warm, cozy and very clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful, they made my stay very comfortable. Shops and bus stop close by which made it easy to get to and from the train station, they also give you a free pass for renting a bike for 1 day. Overall it was a comfortable stay, especially if you want to meet other travelers and stay in a traditional Japanese house.

The location was a little bit far to walk to town. However, on a good day you can still walk to the Daibutsu temple, beach and the tram very easily.
